3rd Problems (18%)

Concerns among Thai consumers have slightly risen when compared to last year, particularly regarding the safety of electric vehicles (EVs). This increase is driven by media reports of accidents caused by system failures and usability issues that may not be well-suited to Thailand's driving conditions.

4th EV Charging Stations (16%)

Mentions of EV charging stations increased only 1% in the year 2024 when compared to year 2023. Most discussions focus on the shortage of EV charging stations and the poor quality of existing charging infrastructure.

5th Design (12%)

Mentions of design decreased from the previous year to 12%. This might be because new electric vehicle (EV) is now as stylish and modern as sports cars and regular gasoline-powered cars.

Additionally, the growing adoption of electric vehicle (EV) in Thailand has increased interest in after-sales services. For potential buyers, price and value have become more important than design. As a result, brands are competing more aggressively on pricing and promotions, making the electric vehicle (EV) market more dynamic. This trend is further boosted by government support and incentives encouraging electric vehicle (EV) adoption.

The provinces and regions with the most discussions about electric vehicles (EVs) align with the expansion of EV charging stations.
